Friends of the Library Annual
Spring Book
The annual Spring Book Sale sponsored by the Friends
of the Garland County Library is held each year in May.
Thousands of fiction and non-fiction used books, both hardcover and paperback will be available at the
sale. Most of the books are priced from
50 cents to $4. There will also be Books on Tape, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs and
puzzles available at very reasonable prices. Shoppers will find complete sets
of older encyclopedias and reference works as well as out-of-print books and
collectibles.
Members of the Friends of the Library may attend the
Preview sale. Anyone may join the group by paying the $5 membership dues at the
sale door or at the library checkout desk before the sale begins.
All proceeds from the sale and membership dues are
used to pay for new books, equipment and programs for the library.
